1. What Rajneta is, and who may use it

Rajneta is an election-management application supplied to registered political-party and campaign clients in India. Access is by an account issued by your client's administrator. There is no public sign-up, and accounts are for one named person — not to be shared, sold, or handed to anyone else. You are responsible for everything done under your login.

2. The client owns and controls its data

Each client's data is held in that client's own separate database. The client decides what is loaded, who may see it, and how it is used — the client is the data controller. Balaji Infotech operates the platform on the client's instructions and does not sell, rent, or share one client's data with another client or with any third party.

Voter records shown in the application originate from electoral rolls published by the Election Commission of India and the State Election Commissions. The client confirms it has the right to hold and use that data for its lawful campaign purposes.

3. How you agree to use it

You agree that you will not:

• use voter data for anything other than your client's lawful campaign work;
• use the data for communal, caste-based or religious appeals, threats, intimidation, or any message that is illegal under Indian election law or the Model Code of Conduct;
• send bulk messages in breach of TRAI / DLT rules, or to people who have opted out;
• extract, copy or resell the roll or any part of it to another party;
• share your password, or let anyone else use your account;
• attempt to reach data outside the area or client your account is assigned to, or interfere with the security, availability or integrity of the service.

Any analytical estimate the application displays — including figures inferred from names rather than surveyed — is an aid for planning only. It is clearly marked as an estimate in the application and must not be treated as a factual record about any individual, nor used to target or exclude anyone on the basis of religion or caste.

4. Activity is logged

Logins, searches, record changes and exports are recorded with the account, time, IP address and, where the device permits it, location. Your client's administrator can see this log. It exists so misuse of voter data can be traced to the account responsible.

5. Availability

We aim to keep Rajneta available and correct, but it is provided on an “as is” basis. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free service: planned maintenance, network or cloud-provider failures, and data errors carried over from the published electoral rolls can all affect it. Verify anything critical (a voter's entry, a booth, a count) against the official roll before relying on it on polling day.

6. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Balaji Infotech is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of goodwill, or any electoral outcome. Our total liability for any claim arising out of the service is limited to the fees paid by the client for the service in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.

The client indemnifies Balaji Infotech against claims arising from the client's own use of the data — including unlawful messaging, misuse of voter information, or use of data the client did not have the right to supply.

7. Suspension

An account may be suspended immediately where there is reasonable suspicion of misuse of voter data, credential sharing, or any breach of these terms. A client's service may be suspended for non-payment or for unlawful use, after notice where circumstances allow it.

8. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated as the product changes. The “last updated” date above always shows the current version, and material changes will be notified in the application. Continuing to use Rajneta after a change means you accept the updated terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Nagpur, Maharashtra have jurisdiction.
